Northwest Airlines

Northwest Airlines (NWA) was one of the major airlines of the United States. In 2008, it was acquired by, and merged into Delta Air Lines to create the world’s largest airline at the time. Northwest Airlines brand ceased to exist by 2010 but its legacy remains with Detroit and Minneapolis being the second and third largest hubs in the post-merger Delta Air Lines.
